Prenuptial Agreements

In a world of crumbling marriages, a prenuptial agreement safeguards a person's assets and financial stability, so as to ensure that neither partner is left both betrayed and empty-handed.

A prenuptial agreement (also called a premarital agreement) is a written agreement which couples can enter into, prior to marriage, in order to define each party's rights and obligations in the event of divorce. It becomes effective upon their marriage.

In the US, a prenuptial agreement is not mandatory, and is drawn up if the couple wants one.
