Trying to stop a large crowd of people is extremely difficult.When planning big events like concerts, sporting events and big sales,It is important that crowd control strategies are developed to prevent injury or damage.This kinds of events are the most likely events to generate deadly crowds.Crowd disasters happens everyday all over the world.When people get panicked it could results into human stampedes.
I remember the stampede that happens in the Philippine five years ago.It happens during the first anniversary of a popular TV game show called WOWOWEE.Seventy three people were killed in a stampede at a stadium in Manila and most of the dead were elderly women.Because of the large crowd the ambulances had trouble rescuing the victims.They could have used crowd control products to prevent stampede from happening.
Big event organizer should used crowd control products like barricades, stanchions and velvet rope to insure crowd safety.
